Frequently Asked Questions, last updated June 2026

What ages do your programs serve?

Our programs — including Seedlings (6–36 months), Sprout Scouts (3–6years), Trailblazers  (6-10 years) and All the Feels (for families with infants through school-age children) — are designed to support young explorers and their families. We encourage families to try a Drop-In Class to see if it’s a good fit. Drop-ins are offered weekly — follow us on social media and join our Facebook group to stay updated!

Can siblings come for free?

  • Sprout Scouts: Siblings under 2 years old may join Sprout Scouts free of charge when accompanying an enrolled child.

  • Seedlings: Older siblings (3 years +) should not attend Seedlings unless they are also enrolled in Sprout Scouts. If you wish to enroll both a Sprout Scout and a Seedling, the Sprout Scout is charged at the full rate, and the Seedling is charged at the sibling rate.

  • Discounts: Sprout Scout Siblings 24 months or older must enroll in the class. A family rate is available. Once two children from the same family are enrolled, additional siblings may attend for free.

Occasional School-Aged Guests: If a school-aged sibling needs to join a class (e.g., due to a day off school), please notify your teacher so they can prepare materials. A drop-in fee may apply.

  • Trailblazers is intentionally designed for older children. Younger siblings are always welcome in our community, but activities, lessons, and materials are reserved for enrolled students within the program age range.

    • Tag-Along siblings (ages 0-5) may attend Trailblazers free of charge when accompanying an enrolled child. Tag-Alongs must remain under the supervision of their caregiver at all times.

    • Participating Younger Siblings (ages 4 or 5) may enroll at a reduced siblings rate of $109. They will receive materials and may participate in select hands-on activities.

    • Tag-Along and Participating Siblings must remain under the supervision of their caregiver throughout classes and field trips. Caregivers are responsible for assisting younger children with activities and helping them engage in a developmentally appropriate manner.

Are refunds offered?

  • Season Enrollments: If a refund is requested at least 72 hours before the season begins, you may receive a full refund or credit toward a future class.

  • After the Season Begins: Because materials and staffing are planned in advance, no refunds or credits are given for missed classes once the season has started.

  • Drop-In Classes: Drop-in purchases are non-refundable. However, if you cannot attend, you may request a credit for another drop-in class within the same season (subject to availability).

  • Missed Classes: We do not offer make-up classes, credits, or refunds for individual missed classes within a season enrollment.

If more than 2 sessions in one season need to be canceled by the teacher without rescheduling, families are eligible for a credit for those canceled classes.

  • Thunder or lightning is present

  • Heavy rain

  • Active snowstorms

  • Wind chill of 10°F or below
